You will need Paint Shop Pro for this tutorial.
If you don't already have it, download a trial
version HERE

You will also need to download the Selection files

Outhouse Selections

If you do not already have a Selections folder in PSP,
create one now and unzip the outhousesel files into it.

Download these PSP files to complete the tutorial

Outhouse PSP Files

Let's Begin!

Open a new transparent image 380 x 380 (16 million colors)

Add a new raster layer, name it "house". Go to Selections/Load from
Disk and load the outhouse.sel file.

I couldn't remember if the driftwood pattern was included with PSP 7, so
I have  enclosed the .bmp file with the PSP files, just in case.
If you do NOT have it, take it from the psp files folder you downloaded
and place it in your C:\PaintShopPro/Patterns folder.

Okay, moving on.
Set your pattern to Driftwood.

Flood fill your outhouse with the Driftwood pattern
at the settings below.

Apply a drop shadow with these settings

Apply the drop shadow again, this time changing the Vert & Horiz. to -2

Next, add a new layer, naming it "door".  Grab your Selection tool,
set to Rectangle and draw a door on your outhouse.  Set your
pattern on the settings below and flood fill your door

Apply a drop shadow with the settings above (in the image), only set
your Horiz and Vert to 4.  Reapply your drop shadow, resetting your
Horiz and Vert to -4

Your image should look similar to this:
(mine's resized to allow for faster page loading)

Add a new raster layer, naming it Moon.  Go to Selections/Load From Disk and load
the outhsemoon.sel   Flood fill with color #808080.  Go to Selections/Float and
apply the Cutout effect, using the following settings.

Deselect your moon.
