In Memory Of Those Who Lost Their Lives To A Senseless Act Of Terrorism

The United States borders on Canada. There has always been a great rapport between the two countries. When Canada is in peril, the U.S. rallies with their support, their love, and their compassion. I think I speak for all Canadians when I say, "our hearts weep". Although we are not right in the "thick" of this horrid tragedy, we have relatives, loved ones, friends, just over the border, who have been profoundly affected by the events of Sept. 11th. In the end, this act of barbarism will affect the entire world in some way. Our Prime Minister has pledged Canada's full support to President Bush and the American people. I pray every day that a peaceful solution to this travesty is found very quickly. That the people responsible be caught and punished in a way that resolves our very human need for revenge, but allows our world to continue to live in freedom, but most importantly, in PEACE
